Summer Fun

So, if you can believe it, we're into August already.  It seems like summer just barely got here, but I am harvesting many goodies from my garden.  We are eating fresh potatoes, tomatoes, peas, beans, onions, garlic, cucumbers and I'm still waiting for the corn and melons to ripen.  Of course, I have plenty of weeds as well, but I just try to get rid as many and I can and then not focus too much on the ones left.

Kelly and I have a also taken a couple great rides on our motorcycles this year.  We rode north, over Galena Summit and into the Redfish Lake resort, where my Aunt and cousins were having their yearly get-together.  Such a beautiful area, we took some great pictures and I'm excited to put together a special book that can be shared with the entire family. 

I am headed to Phoenix, Arizona is just a few days for our yearly annual convention that we like to call "Reunion" - I will have lots to post with new products and information when I return.  It's great to have the opportunity to travel and reconnect with the incredible women I continue to meet in this wonderful business.

Gardening Time

The weather is beginning to improve, even though it seems like there is still too much moisture and cool weather.  It is so hard to wait for summer.  But, I have my garden planted and it is actually coming up, almost as good as the weeds.  I use my "Garden Journal" to keep track of what Kelly and I do to our yard, when we add fertilizer, spray for weeds, note when things bloom and such.  It's a fun, personalized way to track outside happenings.  We are enjoying the hummingbirds and what we are having a laugh at "humming finches" - it's amazing how the finches land on the hummingbird feeders and manage to make a meal.  It's entertaining and relaxing to watch.  When I'm not outside, I'm busy making Heritage Makers Fun!!!!  Lots going on this month - here are the specials:

March means Spring, right!

As I write this, I am listening to and watching the birds return to my back yard, I can see tulips pushing their way back to life and even my bleeding heart bush is peaking through the winter blahs.  Spring is on it's way.  I've started pruning the fruit trees and the grape and I'm envisioning my vegetable garden.  And...I'm VERY excited about the great specials I have to offer this month with Heritage Makers.  Can you say PREMIER!!!  If you haven't watched the video, I have the link on last months blog, very cute, and what a bargain!
